Corwin Bolt - Banjo, Guitars, Double Bass, Mandolin, Ukulele

Hello!  My name is Corwin and I would love the opportunity to show you how to play the String Bass, the Electric Bass, the Electric or Acoustic Guitar, the Mandolin, the Banjo, or the Ukulele.  

I am currently studying classical String Bass with Jeffery Johnson at Portland State University.  I am pursuing a graduate degree in music education.  My undergraduate work was done at the University of Oregon.

The most important part of my job is to inspire people.  I am very excited about communicating through the medium of music and I aim to share that excitement with as many people as possible.  As a teacher I strive to balance the systematic and efficient methods of academic music instruction with the more informal and aural folk and contemporary music traditions.  I want to create a versatile and exciting curriculum that can be applied to all learners and all styles of music.
